    I make it a rule to read newspapers every day. As a student, I have no time to watch news programs . Besides, watching television takes up a lot of time. Consequently, reading the newspaper es the only way for me to learn about what's happening around the world.

While newspapers do not carry the latest, up-to-the minute world news, they give us a great deal of useful knowledge.
